Date: Qing Dynasty, Daoguang Period (1820-50 CE)

Material: porcelain

Height: 1 ¾ inches (4.44 cm)

Width: 3 1/8 inches (7.93 cm)

Depth: 4 3/4 inches (12.06 cm)

The lid is decorated with two figures in a landscape scene, framed by a scalloped triple lined lozenge. The area outside the lozenge is decorated with a geometric pattern. The base of the box is decorated on all four sides with an auspicious emblem.
